Anything that is not round or four-sided is generally labelled as a special profile. Particularly in the last three years, Flender has managed to prepare a number of products for the market and set very high goals in what is the company's youngest business unit.

This is due in no small part to the technology of direct moulding. Working closely with the customer, our engineers use this technique to precisely develop the product, so that all of the specific requirements and wishes are fulfilled.

Up to nine bending edges, a wide range of angles and heavily limited tolerance make the Flender special profiles some of the top products in our range. In order to create them, we rely on a wide range of hot rolled, cold rolled and high-strength steel. Targeted reduction of the wall thickness also makes it possible to save on weight, material and ultimately costs.

Innovative special profiles form an addition to our standard pipe programme and make us a sought-after system partner, particularly in the automotive, cabinetry and shop-fitting business sectors.
